The Largest LEGO® Sets in the World

When it comes to big LEGO® sets we tend to think of sets like the Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon, or the original Lion Knights Castle, but are they the biggest? The answer is no, far from it in fact. We have decided to do the research and discover which sets are the largest LEGO® sets in the world.

The first part of this list is based on information found on the LEGO® Website and ranks the sets based on the number of pieces found in each set. Let’s take a look:

LEGO® Art World Map Set - 31203

Pieces: 11,695

The first entry on the list is the LEGO® Art World Map Set (31203). This stunning set may take you a while to build containing over 11,000 pieces, but when it's finished it's truly breath-taking.

This is a customer map of the world that lets you organise and modify the world in any way you want, letting you choose which continent and oceans you want in the centre of the map.

LEGO® Eiffel Tower Set - 10307

Pieces: 10,001

Coming in at number two in this list is the LEGO® Eiffel Tower Set (10307) set containing more than 10,000 pieces. Released in November 2022, not only does LEGO® set 10307 have more pieces than almost any other set on the market, it is by far the tallest LEGO® set released to date standing at 149cm high. Packed with tonnes of incredible detail, this set is a real showstopper.

Pieces: 9,090

Measuring 145cm long, the LEGO® Titanic Set (10294) set is the third largest set released to date. This highly detailed 1:200 scale replica of the Titanic is made up of 9,090 pieces and features details like lifeboats, cabins, and the famous grand staircase.

This set is a sight to behold and tells a story that will be remembered for years to come.

The LEGO® Colosseum Set (10276) is next on our list with a piece count coming in at 9,036. This replica of iconic Roman architecture is a refined and spectacularly detailed display piece.

The designers wanted to cram in as many details as they could and they quickly found out that more detail means a lot more bricks. This set is no longer available to buy from the LEGO® Store.

Number 5 on our list is the UCS LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon™ set (75192). Being one of the more recognised sets, the Millenium Falcon™ has been the holy grail for LEGO® Star Wars™ set fans since its release way back in 2007.

Not only does this set feature loads of details both inside and outside the ship, but the set also contains the 7 Minifigures and various other elements. It is also the biggest LEGO® Star Wars™ set ever made.

Number six on the list is another addition from the LEGO® Star Wars™ set range, the LEGO® Star Wars™ AT-AT™ set (75313). This behemoth of a model is an almost identical remake of the AT-AT™s seen during the Battle of Hoth™ in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™. Consisting of an impressive 6785 pieces, this set also contains 9 Minifigures to help bring your Imperial AT-AT™ to life.

Although it’s not the only LEGO® Razor Crest™ Set (75331) out there, it is the largest. This iteration of the Mandalorian™'s famous ship weighs in with a whopping 6,187 pieces, making. It is the 7th largest LEGO® set ever made.

LEGO® Icons – THE LORD OF THE RINGS™: RIVENDELL™ Set - 10316

One of the newest editions to the list is the LEGO® Icons – THE LORD OF THE RINGS™: RIVENDELL™ set (10316). Release on the 8th of March 2023, this set is a replica that has done an incredible job of staying true to the films by re-creating the halls, towers, and gardens of Elrond™’s home in stunning detail. It even comes with a full fellowship and the circle of chairs around which the fate of the One Ring™ was decided.

The LEGO® NINJAGO® City Markets set (71799) may not be the largest set ever released by The LEGO Group, but it’s fair to say a lot is going on. The set is an exciting cityscape set over three floors filled with shops, homes, restaurants, and much more.

Not only does this set feature all manner of secret compartments, and moving mechanisms, it also comes with 21 Minifigures to bring the city to life.

The final entry onto the list is the LEGO® Harry Potter™ Hogwarts™ Castle set (71043). By far the largest set in the LEGO® Harry Potter™ set collection, Hogwarts™ is an impressive structure. The set is made up of 6,020 pieces, creating the iconic magical castle including details like the Chamber of Secrets™, the Great Hall, and Dumbledore™'s Office.

Of course, the versatility of the humble LEGO® brick isn’t limited to the official LEGO® sets. Across the world, some have taken their building skills to a whole new level, building some truly gargantuan constructions.

Largest Unofficial LEGO® Brick Constructions

Life-sized LEGO® Brick Star Wars™ X-Wing Starfighter™ Replica

Even if you are not a Star Wars™ fan, you have probably heard of the X-Wing Starfighter™, the iconic fighter from the Star Wars™ film series. The X-Wing™ was The LEGO Group’s first ever Star Wars™ set and to pay tribute to this classic set 32 master builders came together with over 5 million bricks to build a life-sized replica of the LEGO® Star Wars™ set 9493.

Full Sized LEGO® Brick House

You might remember back in 2009 when Top Gear presenter James May set to work fulfilling his childhood dream of building a whole house out of LEGO® bricks. With the help of around 2000 people and over 3.2 million LEGO® bricks, James managed to build his house, which was even fitted with a working toilet and sink. Unfortunately, after no one came forward to save this bizarre house and it was knocked down.

LEGO® Brick Tower Bridge

Holding the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest sculpture made of LEGO® bricks is the gigantic Tower Gate Bridge Replica. Created for Land Rover, a total of 5,805,846 bricks were used in its creation, smashing the previous world record of 470,646 bricks.

Giant Ferris Wheel

Built in October of 2017 by Tomáš Kašpařík, the world record holder for the biggest LEGO® Brick Ferris wheel in the world has a massive diameter measuring 3.38 metres. This gargantuan free-standing showstopper is made from around 40,000 bricks and features a support building at its base, 43 carriages, and a whole host of passengers.

Giant LEGO® Brick Blackberry 9360

If you are over 20 then you will probably remember the days of the Blackberry phone, the must-have mobile phone that lived a short but popular life. The Blackberry phone holds a special place in our hearts and for LEGO® set designer - Nathan Sawaya this was no exception. In 2010, Nathan decided to commemorate the titan of the mobile phone industry by creating a replica of a Blackberry 9360 that stood nearly as tall as him. The replica was even fitted with a full LCD TV built into it to operate as a screen.
